Yutaka Japanese Restaurant: Authentic Ramen & Sushi in Phoenix

Came for my fist time and had a great experience! Jayden was our server and was super kind and constantly checking if we needed anything. Our food was absolutely delicious! The portions are great (they LOAD the salmon rolls) My fiancé is vegetarian and usually can only get avocado rolls but they had a yum yum roll that he absolutely loved and raved about, we will definitely be back!!

Busy location but small so seating can be hard to get. Great lunch special pricing and portion.

With this cold nights what better way to warm up with some ramen. The spicy miso ramen hit the spot every time. Had a California roll to top it off. Recommend to come and give it a try. Won’t regret it.

The tonkotsu ramen was good and their seaweed salad was fresh. Staff were were friendly. The place was a little cramped and I had to wait 20 mins before I got seated.

Oh, where do I begin? This little hole-in-the-wall Japanese restaurant is an amazing place to eat. I like and love this place. I sneak away to this place at least twice a month sometimes more depending on my schedule and mood. It is small in size but it feels like home and comfortable at the same time. It is quiet and I like that because I don't like competing with the music or television. When it comes to service they are more reserved, to say the least. I don't see smiles often or even laughter among the servers. They sometimes welcome you and other times not. However, they are respectful and do ask if everything is okay and if the food is to our liking. When it comes to drink refills I always have to ask. They don't assume or politely ask if I would like another. That annoys me sometimes but good food overrides that sometimes. That's the reason for my 4 stars for service. The tables are small and they have big plates so be prepared to do tetris with your food. Since it is a small establishment you will have to sit at a table for 2 if there are 2 of you or a table for 1. I do have my favorites and I think the pictures will show that to you. I highly recommend this place. Happy Eating

This place was amazing, first time coming here. me and my partner ordered the tonkatsu ramen and the deluxe shrimp tempura roll. It was so good and the roll was huge! I almost ordered one for myself but I’m glad I didn’t because sharing was enough. Our server was amazing and kind, and great. The atmosphere was chill and comfortable too, we will definitely come here again.

Excellent efficient service. The Tonkatsu ramen was voted one of the best in Arizona and this title is well earned. Absolutely delicious!

Food was absolutely incredible. Easily the best sushi in town. Easily the best Ramen in town as well. Place is a bit small and saw people having to get on a wait list, or leave. This place is a 10/10. Enjoy the food!
